This is not the championship table
Raw points mostly measure the bike — the top of the standings and the fastest manufacturer’s grid slots are nearly the same list. This ranking divides each rider’s points-per-round by how fast their manufacturer’s bike actually is in qualifying, then blends in the one number that isolates rider skill from the bike entirely: the median qualifying gap to their own teammate, the only comparison where both riders share identical machinery.

Where these numbers come from
Points per round, divided by a bike-pace factor from the Bike Performance ranking — so the same rate of scoring counts for more from a bike that isn’t built to produce it. Blended with the qualifying gap to a rider’s own teammate, the one comparison that holds the bike constant.
Score is 65% bike-adjusted points, 35% teammate qualifying margin. It exists to order the grid, not to be read as a measurement — the number itself carries no meaning beyond rank.
