Motorsport Dash is built and run by one person in New Zealand. Here is who builds it, how it is funded, and the ways you can help - all of them optional.
Who builds this
I’m a Kiwi motorsport fan, and Motorsport Dash is a one-person project. I built it because I was sick of opening a dozen tabs every race weekend to work out what had actually happened. The site pulls together stories from the publishers we track, adds results, standings and season data, and tries to get you current in about thirty seconds.
How it is funded
There is no company behind this and nobody is paid. I cover the running costs myself, and anything that comes in through the coffee link goes straight back into the site rather than to anyone’s pocket.
The quick-look dashboard stays free of advertising. That is not changing, and it is the point of the site. If advertising ever appears it will be on the deeper pages, never on the feed you land on.
Ways to help
All of these are optional, and the site works exactly the same if you do none of them.
- Just use it. Genuinely the most useful thing. Traffic is what keeps the project worth maintaining.
- Tell someone. Sharing a story page with a friend who follows the sport does more than anything else on this list.
- Tell me what’s missing. Feature requests and bug reports go to the same inbox as everything else - see the contact page.
