IndyCar 2026 Teams

These are not an official teams’ championship. IndyCardoes not publish one in the form F1 does, so the points and wins here are added up from each team’s classified drivers using official NTT IndyCar Series points and race classifications. They are a fair measure of a team’s season; they are not a standing anyone is awarded a trophy for.

That roll-up favours teams running more cars: 0 of 0 teams field more than one driver. Two columns correct for it. Per car divides the total by the number of entries, which is the fairer comparison between a large operation and a single-car one. Best is the highest championship position anyone at the team holds, and does not scale with entry count at all - a team can be mid-table on total points while employing the championship leader.

Share is the percentage of all championship points scored this season that went to that team. It is the quickest read on how concentrated the season is: a grid where the top two teams hold most of the share is a different championship from one where twelve teams split it evenly, and neither the points column nor the position column shows that on its own.

The engine column is what the team competes on rather than who owns it. Satellite and customer teams run another engine’s cars, which is why several teams share one.
