What makes it different
- New for 2026 - a hybrid of permanent sections and public roads around the IFEMA exhibition centre in Madrid.
- Includes a banked corner of around 24 degrees, steeper than either of Zandvoort’s, the first of its kind built for a modern F1 circuit.
- At 22 corners it has more than any other round on the 2026 calendar.
- The lap passes beneath the M11 motorway through a tunnel, linking the street section around IFEMA to the faster purpose-built loop beyond it.
